1.在招聘会上我们可以看到各种各样的简历，有的简单到就一张纸，而有的甚是奢华。但是有一点是共同的，这就是，在简历上大家会竭尽全力的展示自己的优势和才华。 陈超老师讲了他的一个小故事;
一次他和几个外国朋友开车出门，遇到堵车。正在等车的过程中，大家谈到了跳槽的问题，这时就涉及到简历的书写，at this time , one of his foreign friends said to him:" blow your own horn." 当，陈超老师听到这句话时下意识地按了一下喇叭。可按完喇叭才意识到前面的牌子上几个醒目的大字：禁止鸣笛！于是就埋怨起他的朋友。（but ,this friend explaind: ）但他的朋友解释到，这个句子的意思是在简历上尽力去吹嘘，去夸耀自己吧。而不是让他按喇叭。

我们接触这个短语的意思多是于此同时的意思，而忽略然而的含义。看下面的例子。 It'll cost a lot of time, at the same time (但是，然而), I think we shall need it and it'll certainly be useful.

this idiom means rescue from a situation at the last possible moment. In 17th century England, a guard at Windsors Castle was said to have fallen asleep at his post. Today we think of the bell that ends around in a boxing, often saving the boxer from injury, or the bell at the end of a class periods, saving you from more work. This idiom means rescue from a situation at the last possible moment.

In the past, student barbers(理发师) learned to shave on customers. If they shaved too close, their customers might be cut or even barely escape serious injury. Today, we use the idiom if a person narrowly escapes danger.
